Possibly the largest to tearsheet to add to my collection, this 8ft billboard was commissioned by local businessman Robert Glover to advertise his services and website, The Best of Hertford. The name 'Hertford' is Anglo Saxon and means the ford which is frequented by harts or stags, and is why the statue of a Stag stands proudly in Parliament Square. With Robert's website featuring the best of local businesses (based on recommendations by others who have used it previously), the use of the statue in the billboard was a great concept. This was shot on a Canon 5D Mark II, cropped in camera to utilise its 21 megapixel sensor for a large scale high quality print.
Located just outside the hustle and bustle of Hertford North train station, it's a prime location to advertise this brilliant service.
